“Strong” – is a three-year lasting art series by Igor Mihailenko. The idea is to show the power of muscle body of fighting dogs.
These abstract bodies show not the real figures but powerful spirits of a battle. This series reflects the street culture of bull-baiting, that now is strictly prohibited mostly in all countries. On this artworks – canvas is a kind of a ring, were the main fighting action is set. Grin, is a reflection of an uncovered aggression with no compromises and no victim outcome. Even spectators have to be strong to suffer all the voltage of the presented violent scenes of life-fights.
