Biography
Alejandro Contrera Moiraghi
Born in Tucumán, Republica Argentina in 1973.
Studies at the School of Fine Arts A.
Terragni which receives Teacher in Visual Arts.
Then attends Studies at the Faculty of Arts at the National University of Tucumán where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts.
Ana Studio Eckell made art courses and clinics with Kevin Powell and Eduardo Medici. In 2000, The National Academy of Fine Arts granted a training award and in 2001 received a grant for artistic creation Antorchas Foundation.
In 2005 he received a scholarship from the National Endowment for the Arts.
Make numerous exhibitions among which are: Cultural Center Rouges 2001, Tucumán, 2002 Centro Cultural Recoleta, Buenos Aires, 2002 Gallery Andrada, Buenos Aires, 2003 Galleries Open Studio at Harrods, Buenos Aires; ArteBA 2003 Trastienda Expo 2003, Cultural Center Borges, Buenos Aires. Palais de Glace, Buenos Aires. Gallery Pavilion IV, Buenos Aires. Isidro Miranda Gallery, Buenos Aires. Bacano Gallery, Buenos Aires. Centro de Arte Moderno, Madrid.
In 2006 he was invited to exhibit at the Embassy of Argentina in Washington DC, USA. In 2007 he took part in Art Madrid, Pabellón de Cristal, Casa de Campo de Madrid.
In 2008 part of the Art Fairs Americas (Miami), Art BO (Bogotá), and was invited to exhibit at the Argentine Consulate in New York.
In 2009 received a scholarship to a residence in Johannesburg, South Africa. He was selected on numerous occasions in events of provincial, regional and national where he received many awards and honors. His work is in the country's public institutions, as well as in private collections in Brazil, Mexico, Bolivia, Germany, Spain, Uruguay, South Africa, Puerto Rico and the U.S..
